2024 Fall Newsletter
The 2023-2024 year was quite eventful. The October Tea featured two of our members: Bruce Rose, piano and the poetry of Christine Howey. What a terrific beginning to the year! The year ended with a May Luncheon that featured two members: Laura Lindauer, soprano, and Marge Adler, piano. They performed music from 1904 – yes, the year that the Club was founded – marvelous!! And the programs “in between” were also superb.
2023 Spring Newsletter
Music and Drama is approaching its 120th anniversary in 2024. That is a remarkable achievement for any group but especially our small and active membership. Over the years we have raised and donated tens of thousands of dollars for the education of arts minded students. This year we raised over $10,000 and will give to ten different Cleveland area organizations.
2022 Fall Newsletter
Our last season was thrilling, and this year’s season promises to equal those performances. Besides enjoying wonderful music and dramatics we raise money for scholarships. These scholarships enable students to continue their studies and we benefit from their endeavors. Thank you to everyone who worked on the December Scholarship luncheon and the Something Rotten benefit at the Beck Center.
